We’re thrilled to share a new integration that brings powerful visibility and communication tools to your SSL monitoring: TrackSSL now integrates with our sister product, StatusGator!
With this new connection, your SSL certificate statuses can now sync seamlessly to your StatusGator dashboard, making it easier than ever to improve visibility, prevent surprises, and keep your team or customers informed.
What is StatusGator?
StatusGator is a unified monitoring and status page platform that lets you track the status of all the services your organization depends on — including third-party services, websites, and even custom monitors for your internal systems. It also powers a fully customizable status page to communicate uptime and incidents with your users. It detects outages that are not already acknowledged by providers with Early Warning Signals.
Whether you use it for internal visibility or public transparency, StatusGator consolidates everything in one place. It also integrates with a wide variety of tools to make sending SSL expiration alerts to external systems even easier.
How the integration works
Once you connect TrackSSL to your StatusGator account, your SSL certificate statuses will appear as a dedicated TrackSSL Certificates monitor. This means:
- All your monitored domains will be automatically visible in StatusGator
- Expiring certificates can trigger WARN or DOWN statuses
- Certificate info flows through to your status pages, embeds, and integrations (Slack, Teams, etc.)
No need to check multiple tools — just monitor and communicate SSL status from one centralized view.
Customizable expiration thresholds
By default, your SSL certificates will show as:
- WARN when the certificate is within 7 days of expiration
- DOWN when within 1 day of expiration
These thresholds are fully customizable in StatusGator, allowing you to tailor the visibility and urgency of certificate issues based on your operational needs.
